Eggs sold at Costco recalled due to risk of salmonella

THE SIGNAL

More than 10,000 cartons of eggs sold under Costco’s Kirkland Signature store brand have been recalled by the warehouse chain’s supplier because of the risk of salmonella.
Handsome Brook Farms, which buys eggs from small, family-owned farms across 10 East Coast and Midwest states, initiated the voluntary recall after figuring out that eggs not intended for sale were accidentally packaged and sent out to stores.
