THE SIGNAL
Over the weekend, Vice President Kamala Harris informed supporters that she intends to “stay in the fight” against President-elect Donald Trump, though it is unclear where she will do so. The Democrat has essentially made it clear that she has no intention of peacefully riding off into the sunset, as she now has her sights set on two offices.
The vice president, who is only 60 years old, is youthful by Washington standards and has plenty of time to reach numerous offices across the nation. Politico claims that Hillary has instructed senior staff members and important advisors to remain flexible in case she decides to launch her next campaign shortly. According to those closest to her, Harris is considering a second run for the presidency in 2028 or might decide to run for governor of California in 2026. While President-elect Donald Trump has left liberals either apoplectic or ignoring him as he completes the details of his second term, Harris has been keeping quiet for the past few weeks, going on a family vacation and avoiding the spotlight.
