THE SIGNAL
FBI Director Kash Patel responded strongly after a Democrat accused him of lying during his Senate confirmation hearing.
This came shortly after MSNBC was compelled to retract bizarre and baseless claims that Patel spent more time partying than working in the office.
Patel, nominated to lead the FBI just 10 days into Donald Trump’s second term, faced questions about his connections to podcaster Stew Peters during his confirmation hearings. Peters, who is labeled an antisemite by many, including the Anti-Defamation League, was a topic of controversy.
During the hearing, Patel denied any familiarity with Peters, despite multiple reports revealing that he had appeared on Peters’ podcast at least eight times.
