Marsha Blackburn blasts Google for its ‘catastrophic failure of oversight’ after Google’s AI defames her as a sex predator

THE SIGNAL

In a scathing email to Sundar Pichai, Sen. Marsha Blackburn accused Google in a letter of defaming the senator with “patently falsified material” produced by Gemma AI. Google removed its Gemma AI from its AI Studio after Blackburn revealed how Google’s AI falsely accused her of sexual abuse. Blackburn wrote: “A tool publicly available that fabricates false criminal accusations about an incumbent U.S. Senator is a dangerous and unreliable one.” The Senator’s failure to exercise oversight and ethics is a catastrophe.
