The White House officially presented Congress with a $9.3 billion rescission package on Monday, which includes, among other things, the complete removal of government money for public radio. The plan proposes more cuts to the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and eliminates the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), which provides funding for NPR and PBS.
