US Marshals Open Fire Outside Supreme Court Justice’s Home

According to accounts, two U.S. Marshals discharged their firearms at an individual suspected of carjacking, who was armed, in close proximity to the residence of a U.S. Supreme Court justice last week.

As per authorities, the occurrence transpired in close proximity to the residence of Justice Sonia Sotomayor. According to The Hill, the individual under suspicion was admitted to a hospital.

In the midst of a carjacking attempt, a perpetrator approached the door on the driver’s side and aimed a handgun at the window. Based on the records, a marshal reacted by discharging around four rounds, striking the subject in the mouth. Following the incident, the suspect was promptly taken to the hospital to receive medical attention and has since been apprehended.
