Melania Gets Huge Surprise 24 Hours After Making Epstein Announcement

Reactions poured in Thursday after First Lady Melania Trump issued a rare on-camera statement forcefully rejecting allegations linking her to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Speaking earlier in the day, Melania Trump made clear that she had no personal relationship with Epstein or his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, and emphasized that neither individual played any role in her introduction to Donald Trump.

“The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today,” she said. “The individuals lying about me are devoid of ethical standards, humility and respect. I do not object to their ignorance, but rather, I reject their mean-spirited attempts to defame my reputation.”

The first lady also underscored that her name has never appeared in court documents tied to Epstein, framing the allegations as entirely baseless and damaging to her reputation. Her remarks quickly drew responses from political figures across the spectrum, many taking to social media to weigh in.

Rep. Nancy Mace, a Republican who has been outspoken about releasing documents related to Epstein, publicly backed the first lady. Posting online, Mace expressed support for Melania Trump’s stance and highlighted her advocacy efforts.

“Melania Trump stands with Epstein victims.”

She also praised the first lady’s work on legislation aimed at protecting women from exploitation and abuse.

“Thank you to our First Lady for being a voice for victims across the country. From her work on the Take It Down Act to publicly standing for the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and calling for action and the truth,” she said.

“The truth will prevail. America is strong when strong women stand up for what is right.”

Rep. Thomas Massie also weighed in, pointing to ongoing efforts in Congress to bring greater transparency to the Epstein case. Massie referenced his work on legislation related to the release of Epstein-related documents and addressed the broader issue of accountability.

“First Lady asks Congress to bring Epstein survivors in for testimony. With all due respect, that’s @DAGToddBlanche’s job!,” he said.

“@RepRoKhanna & I already gave brave survivors a chance to tell their horrific stories on Capitol Hill. @PamBondi wouldn’t even acknowledge them. PROSECUTE!”

Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene also aligned herself with Melania Trump’s remarks, voicing support for both the first lady and the victims involved in the case.

“I am grateful to the First Lady for her brave statement today about Epstein and his victims,” she said. “I agree with her that the victims should be heard. I also agree with Thomas Massie. The DOJ needs to PROSECUTE!!! And the role of Congress is to legislate, not prosecute.”

Democrats also responded following the first lady’s statement. Rep. Robert Garcia called for immediate congressional action, urging House leadership to hold a public hearing focused on survivors.

“We agree with First Lady Melania Trump’s call for a public hearing with the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein. We encourage Chairman Comer to respond to the First Lady’s request and schedule a public hearing immediately,” he said.

Garcia also described the moment as significant in bringing renewed attention to the broader investigation.

“The First Lady said two things,” Garcia said. “1) She pushed back on Acting AG Todd Blanche & her husband’s efforts to kill this investigation. 2) She joined our efforts to call for a public hearing where survivors who choose to do so have an opportunity to testify.”

Melania Trump’s forceful denial and the swift bipartisan reaction highlight the continued sensitivity surrounding the Epstein case, as well as the political pressure to address unanswered questions and ensure accountability moving forward.

Warning Issued Over Big Boom In Unexpected Result From Ozempic Use

The exploding popularity of GLP-1 receptor agonists like Ozempic and Wegovy is often hailed as a public health triumph, but one potential side effect may be flying under the radar.

The risk of divorce increases as weight drops, according to historical data from bariatric surgery patients.

Some experts believe that the same pattern could occur as more people “take the jab” and decide to call it quits on their marriages.

STUDY REVEALS HOW RAPIDLY WEIGHT COMES BACK AFTER QUITTING OBESITY MEDICATIONS

Per-Arne Svensson, a professor at the Institute of Health and Care Sciences in Sweden, studies the link between weight loss and relationship status. While these drugs have many metabolic benefits, he warns that the social fallout is very real.

“The effect likely unfolds in several stages,” Svensson told Fox News Digital. “First, a substantial amount of weight must be lost, which typically occurs within the first year. Subsequently, changes in relationship dynamics may begin to emerge, followed by the legal processes associated with divorce.”

This observation aligns with previous studies that found patients who underwent bariatric surgery were twice as likely to get a divorce compared to the general population.

STOPPING GLP-1 DRUGS LIKE OZEMPIC ERODES HEART HEALTH BENEFITS QUICKLY, NEW STUDY FINDS

In addition to helping with diabetes control and weight management, GLP-1s have also been found to help break unhealthy, reward-seeking habits like drinking and smoking.

However, Svensson said the cause of these splits isn’t necessarily a change in a patient’s temperament or brain chemistry. Instead, he points to the psychological and social shifts that accompany a new physique.

“Weight loss itself may increase a sense of autonomy or confidence, potentially empowering individuals to leave unhealthy relationships,” he told Fox News Digital.

Many patients report that their lifestyles change substantially after weight loss, “often involving greater social engagement and increased attention from others,” the doctor added.

GREATER WEIGHT LOSS PROMISED BY HIGHER-DOSE WEGOVY SHOT, NOW APPROVED BY FDA

If a partner is unable to adapt to this more outgoing version of their spouse, the friction can cause rifts.

A 2013 study supports this “relationship tension” theory, finding that when one partner loses significant weight while the other remains the same, it can lead to feelings of insecurity and criticism from the partner who didn’t change.

“Currently, surgery leads to greater average weight loss, and its impact on relationships is therefore likely to be more pronounced,” Svensson said.

“However, as newer, more effective medications are developed, we may soon see comparable levels of weight loss to those achieved with surgery.”

Svensson noted that weight loss doesn’t have to mean “date loss.”

“Among individuals who are single, the likelihood of forming a new relationship also increases substantially after weight loss,” he said.

“While it may be somewhat discouraging to acknowledge the role of appearance in partner selection, finding a new romantic partner is nevertheless one of the most significant events in a person’s life.”

To mitigate the risk of a split, Svensson suggests that couples take a collaborative approach to health.

If one partner is pursuing wellness goals, involving the spouse in healthy lifestyle changes — such as diet and exercise — can create a shared journey rather than one that pulls the couple apart, according to the expert.

“There may be clear advantages to partners undertaking weight-loss treatment together,” provided that both have a clinical need, Svensson added.

‘To Catch a Predator’ host Chris Hansen warns Roblox dangers far worse than past online chatrooms

Investigative journalist Chris Hansen warns parents about Roblox, comparing it to an amusement park where “kids are flying off” the rides.

The “To Catch a Predator” host sat down for the “Planet Tyrus” podcast to explain his findings and what he claims is a surge of grooming on the site. Hansen noted that the platform’s visual style, which features cartoon, customizable avatars, often masks the underlying dangers.

“It was shocking to me that you have this kids’ game with characters that appear to be so innocent, like Lego characters, but I guess it just goes to show that predators will go wherever the children are,” Hansen said.

Roblox is a gaming giant used by millions of children and teenagers. The company is facing a wave of legal challenges, including a lawsuit involving more than 140 people who argue the game’s design, such as open chat and private spaces, aided predators.

Several state attorneys general have also launched lawsuits against the company, accusing it of prioritizing profits over user safety.

Hansen investigated the platform for his streaming network, digging into allegations of child exploitation. He said today’s digital landscape is far more dangerous for children than early internet chatrooms.

“People ask, ‘Is the problem worse today than it was 22 years ago?’ The answer is yes, it’s way worse because there are so many different platforms upon which adults can approach children,” Hansen said.

A spokesperson for Roblox told Fox News Digital that “safety is at the core of everything we do,” and noted they have a “multi-layered defense system” blending technology and strict policy enforcement to keep young people safe.

“We have always completely blocked the sharing of images or videos in chat and use rigorous filters designed to prevent the exchange of personal information,” the company added.

BIG TECH’S TOBACCO MOMENT IS HERE — AND THE TRUTH ABOUT HARMING KIDS IS OUT

However, Hansen called for greater accountability from the game developers meant to protect “vulnerable children.”

“If kids are flying off a ride at an amusement park left and right, they have a responsibility to make that ride safer, so kids aren’t flying off the ride. Roblox has a similar responsibility,” he said.

Roblox has countered safety concerns, saying it has instituted safeguards such as content moderation, parental controls and age verification. It said that since January, it has required users to complete age checks to chat on the platform, limiting interaction to users of a similar age or people they already know.

“We take swift action against anyone found to violate our community standards and collaborate closely with law enforcement to hold bad actors accountable. While no system can be perfect, we will never stop innovating around safety and working with trusted partners to make Roblox better and safer.”

Dem Tries To Reinstate Dreaded TSA Policy With A Nasty Twist

Reaction spread rapidly Wednesday after a report from The Free Press alleged that the Trump administration attempted to pressure the Vatican into backing its position in the escalating conflict with Iran.

According to the report, Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Elbridge Colby met with Cardinal Christophe Pierre, the Vatican’s ambassador to the United States representing Vatican leadership under Pope Leo. The administration was reportedly frustrated with remarks made earlier in the year during a State of the World address, in which the Pope urged nations to respect international borders—comments some interpreted as a subtle critique of U.S. policy.

The report claimed Colby warned Cardinal Pierre that the United States possessed overwhelming military power and suggested the Catholic Church should align itself accordingly. It also alleged that the conversation intensified, with a U.S. official referencing the historical Avignon Papacy—a period when popes were heavily influenced by the French crown.

While the Vatican Embassy confirmed that a meeting took place, it declined to comment on the substance or tone of the discussion. The Pentagon, however, pushed back strongly on the report, calling the account “highly exaggerated and distorted.” Vice President JD Vance, a Catholic convert, said he had not reviewed the report but noted he had previously met Cardinal Pierre and expressed interest in discussing the matter further.

As the story circulated, several Catholic media figures raised questions about its accuracy. JD Flynn, editor of The Pillar, said his team had been unable to independently verify key elements of the account.

“That shouldn’t lead anyone to a conclusion of any kind,” Flynn wrote. “Except that your pals down at the pillar haven’t confirmed this report.”

Further doubt was cast by Brian Burch, the U.S. ambassador to the Holy See, who said he spoke directly with Cardinal Pierre about the meeting.

“As expected, he confirmed that recent media characterizations of his meeting with Undersecretary Colby are ‘fabrications’ that were ‘just invented,’” Burch wrote. “Given the intelligence and seriousness of Mr. Colby, I was likewise not surprised when His Eminence acknowledged there were no threats of any kind in the meeting.”

Burch added that Cardinal Pierre described the discussion as “frank and cordial” and said there was no reference to the Avignon Papacy.

Jonathan Liedl, managing editor of the National Catholic Register, also pointed to potential weaknesses in the reporting, particularly regarding sourcing.

“None of the sources upon which the story is based were apparently even at the meeting. They were ‘briefed’ on it. So we get little floating nuggets like ‘the Avignon papacy was invoked!’ without needed context,” he wrote in a thread on X.

“To confirm dramatic characterizations of the meeting and some alleged reference to Avignon, you certainly should [speak to someone who was there]. If you don’t, it runs the risk of looking like gossip,” he added.

Separately, First Lady Melania Trump brought renewed attention to the long-running controversy surrounding Jeffrey Epstein by issuing a rare public statement denying any connection to him or his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell.

“The individuals lying about me are devoid of ethical standards, humility, and respect,” Melania said. “I do not object to their ignorance, but rather, I reject their mean-spirited attempts to defame my reputation. I’ve never been friends with Epstein. Donald and I were invited to the same parties as Epstein from time to time, since overlapping in social circles is common in New York City and Palm Beach. To be clear, I never had a relationship with Epstein or his accomplice, [Ghislaine] Maxwell.”

She also denied that Epstein introduced her to President Donald Trump, saying the two met by chance at a party.

The statement reportedly caught some off guard. According to journalist Jacqueline Alemany, the president himself indicated he had not been briefed in advance.

“Just got off a quick call w President Trump who said he didnt ‘know anything about’ FLOTUS’ statement prior to her on camera appearance, but that he was in a meeting about the war & couldn’t speak further. ‘She didn’t know him,’ he added before hanging up, referring to Epstein,” Alemany wrote.

In a separate development, Sen. Tammy Duckworth criticized a recent Department of Homeland Security policy decision regarding airport security procedures. Duckworth raised concerns after reports suggested that screening technology may not fully detect threats concealed in footwear, calling the rollback of the long-standing shoe removal requirement a serious risk.

“Allowing a potentially catastrophic security deficiency to remain in place for seven months and counting betrays TSA’s mission,” she said. “At a minimum, TSA’s failure to swiftly implement corrective action warrants the immediate withdrawal of Secretary Noem’s reckless and dangerous policy that increases the risk of a terrorist smuggling a dangerous item onto a flight.”

The policy in question traces back to 2006, following a failed bombing attempt involving explosives hidden in a passenger’s shoes.
