Elon Musk Just Put A Deadline On Earth — ‘Mark My Words’

Elon Musk is warning that the future of artificial intelligence may not be on Earth at all.

During a recent podcast appearance, the billionaire entrepreneur and founder of SpaceX argued that the biggest obstacle facing the next generation of AI isn’t software, computing power, or engineering talent. Instead, Musk believes the limiting factor will be something far more basic: electricity.

As artificial intelligence systems become increasingly sophisticated, they require enormous amounts of energy to train and operate. Data centers powering advanced AI models already consume vast quantities of electricity, and demand continues to surge as companies race to develop more powerful systems.

According to Musk, that growth trajectory is rapidly approaching a point where existing power infrastructure simply won’t be able to keep pace.

Rather than viewing AI development as primarily a software challenge, Musk sees energy production as the critical bottleneck that could determine how far and how fast the technology advances in the coming years.

He pointed to America’s current power consumption as an example of the challenge ahead. The United States consumes roughly half a terawatt of electricity on average, and significantly increasing that capacity would require a massive expansion of power generation infrastructure.

Building enough new power plants to meet future AI demand would be expensive, time-consuming, and politically challenging. Environmental regulations, permitting requirements, and local opposition often slow major energy projects, creating additional hurdles for rapid expansion.

Musk believes these constraints will force technology companies to begin looking beyond Earth much sooner than many experts currently anticipate.

In fact, he predicts that within the next two to three years, it could become economically advantageous to operate large-scale AI systems in space rather than on the ground.

While the idea may sound like science fiction, Musk argues that the economics increasingly favor orbital computing facilities.

One of the biggest advantages is access to uninterrupted solar energy.

Solar panels on Earth lose efficiency due to weather, cloud cover, nighttime conditions, and atmospheric interference. Space-based solar arrays, by contrast, can receive nearly continuous sunlight while avoiding many of the energy losses associated with terrestrial systems.

As a result, orbital solar systems can generate substantially more power than comparable installations on the ground.

The implications for AI are enormous.

Modern AI systems require not only tremendous computing resources but also vast amounts of electricity to keep servers running around the clock. Data centers must also devote substantial energy to cooling systems that prevent processors from overheating.

Musk noted that one of the major benefits of operating in space is the ability to eliminate many of the energy storage challenges that exist on Earth.

When continuous solar power is available, the need for large battery systems is dramatically reduced. Eliminating battery infrastructure lowers costs, improves efficiency, and simplifies operations.

The comments come as AI companies continue investing billions of dollars into new data centers and computing infrastructure. Industry leaders have increasingly acknowledged that energy availability is becoming one of the most important factors influencing future AI development.

Major technology firms are already exploring partnerships with utilities, investing in nuclear energy projects, and securing long-term power agreements to meet anticipated demand.

Musk believes those efforts may ultimately prove insufficient if AI capabilities continue advancing at their current pace.

His prediction also aligns with SpaceX’s broader vision of expanding humanity’s presence beyond Earth. While discussions about colonizing Mars often capture headlines, Musk’s latest comments suggest that space-based computing and energy production could become a practical commercial reality much sooner.

If his forecast proves accurate, the next major leap in artificial intelligence may not come from a breakthrough algorithm or a new software model. Instead, it could come from moving the world’s most powerful computers beyond Earth’s atmosphere and into orbit, where virtually unlimited solar energy could fuel the next generation of technological innovation.

For Musk, the race to build smarter AI may ultimately become a race to find enough power to sustain it—and that race could soon lead straight into space.

Cracker Barrel Fans Outraged Again After NEW Major Change

Cracker Barrel Fans Outraged Again After NEW Major Change

Cracker Barrel built its reputation on comfort food, Southern tradition, and a menu customers could count on for decades.

That’s exactly why loyal diners are still fuming as the restaurant chain continues removing many of the classic dishes that helped make it a household name.

For years, customers have pleaded with the Tennessee-based chain to restore fan favorites that quietly disappeared from the menu, including black-eyed peas, fried haddock, red-eye gravy, fried chicken livers, and perhaps the most mourned item of all—the Sunrise Sampler.

For many longtime patrons, the Sunrise Sampler wasn’t just another breakfast. It was the breakfast.

The hearty platter came loaded with eggs, grits, fried apples, hash brown casserole, sausage, bacon, country ham, and biscuits with gravy—giving diners a taste of nearly everything Cracker Barrel had to offer without having to piece together a meal item by item.

“I noticed a while back that Cracker Barrel removed the GOAT of all breakfasts, the Sunrise Sampler, from the menu,” Josh Cooper, owner of Cooper’s Next Level BBQ in Tallahassee, Florida, told Fox News Digital. “You used to get a little bit of everything without breaking the bank.”

The meal hasn’t completely disappeared—but recreating it now comes with a catch.

Customers must order every component separately, turning what was once an affordable breakfast favorite into a considerably more expensive order.

“Now, in order to get that same teaser touch from the Sunrise Sampler, you have to order it all à la carte, which costs around $25 for the same great meal,” he said. “Blasphemy!”

Fox News Digital reached out to Cracker Barrel for comment.

The growing frustration over disappearing menu items comes after the company already faced a wave of backlash for attempting to modernize its image.

Last year, Cracker Barrel sparked outrage among longtime customers after unveiling a redesigned logo and updated restaurant interiors that many believed stripped away the rustic charm that had long defined the brand.

The changes were part of a sweeping $700 million overhaul across more than 660 locations, including menu revisions and a cleaner, less cluttered dining room design.

The company ultimately reversed course following widespread criticism, but many loyal customers say the damage had already been done.

The leadership shakeup continued last week when Cracker Barrel announced that CEO Julie Masino will step down on Aug. 10.

Former Bloomin’ Brands CEO David Deno is slated to take over.

For many customers, however, the issue extends far beyond a logo or a fresh coat of paint.

They believe corporate leadership has steadily chipped away at the very traditions that made Cracker Barrel stand apart from countless other restaurant chains.

Cooper said companies often underestimate the emotional attachment customers have to longtime menu favorites.

People are “asking for comfort and nostalgia.”

“The reality is that nostalgia matters. And when you remove popular items without controlling the narrative or managing customers’ expectations, you are bound to have upset patrons,” he said.

“Whether it’s due to rising food costs, kitchen timing or any other reason, it’s important to communicate with the people who put you on the map in the first place. Communication matters.”

Rachel Love, a self-described Cracker Barrel enthusiast from Tennessee, said one discontinued favorite remains at the top of her wish list.

“I absolutely loved the black-eyed peas, and I’m so glad they’re getting some attention,” Love told Fox News Digital. “They were one of my favorite sides and always felt like such a classic part of the Cracker Barrel experience.”

Love also hopes the restaurant revives its baked apple dumpling, describing it as “the perfect comfort dessert” for a brand built on old-fashioned hospitality.

To her, the debate is about much more than a handful of discontinued recipes.

“People aren’t just asking for old menu items — they’re asking for the comfort and nostalgia that came with them,” she said.

“Sometimes bringing back one classic dish means more to loyal customers than introducing several new ones.”

That may be the lesson Cracker Barrel continues to learn the hard way.

Customers aren’t asking the chain to reinvent itself.

They’re asking it to remember what made it successful.

They want the front porch.

They want the country store.

They want the breakfasts, the classic sides, and the timeless comfort food that turned Cracker Barrel into an American institution.

For many loyal diners, nostalgia isn’t a weakness.

It’s the brand.

DOJ Drops Hammer On MLB — Pride Night Backfires BIG Time

DOJ Drops Hammer On MLB — Pride Night Backfires BIG Time

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier has launched a formal investigation into Major League Baseball, escalating a growing controversy over whether the league selectively enforces its policies against Christian players while embracing other forms of social and political expression.

The investigation centers on three San Francisco Giants pitchers who were reportedly warned by Major League Baseball after displaying Bible verse references on their caps during the team’s annual Pride Night celebration earlier this month.

What began as a dispute over uniform policy has quickly evolved into a broader national debate about religious liberty, equal treatment, and whether Christian athletes are being held to a different standard than other players who use their platform to express personal beliefs.

On Friday, Uthmeier announced that his office had issued both a formal investigative letter and a subpoena to MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred.

The Florida attorney general said his office is examining whether the league engaged in unlawful religious discrimination by enforcing uniform policies differently depending on the viewpoint being expressed.

“Major League Baseball claims it does not tolerate discrimination based on religion, yet its actions tell a different story,” Uthmeier said in a statement.

“If MLB applauds ideological messages it prefers while reprimanding expressions of Christian faith, that is not neutral rule enforcement—it is religious discrimination that cannot stand in Florida,” he added.

The controversy began when Giants starting pitcher Landen Roupp displayed “Gen 9:12-16” on his cap during Pride Night. The passage refers to the biblical account of God’s covenant with humanity and the rainbow as a symbol of that promise.

Fellow Giants pitchers JT Brubaker and Ryan Walker also displayed Bible verse references during the event.

According to Uthmeier, MLB later warned the players that they had violated league policies governing alterations to official uniforms and equipment.

League officials have maintained that the warnings were unrelated to the religious nature of the messages and were simply routine enforcement of existing rules.

Critics, however, argue that the league’s history tells a different story.

In a letter sent to MLB, Uthmeier cited several instances in which players were permitted to display personal, political, or social messages without disciplinary action.

Among the examples highlighted was a Cincinnati Reds player who wrote a tribute to victims of a local mass shooting on his cap in 2019.

The attorney general also pointed to MLB’s decision during the 2020 season to allow players to wear Black Lives Matter patches and display social justice messages on uniforms and equipment. In some cases, political slogans were prominently featured on pitchers’ mounds and other locations throughout stadiums.

Players have also previously written messages on caps, cleats, wristbands, and bat knobs without apparent league intervention.

“MLB appears to applaud — even change its rules for — the ideological beliefs it prefers, but targets players who express religious views the League doesn’t like,” Uthmeier wrote.

MLB insists the enforcement action was content-neutral.

But Uthmeier remains unconvinced.

“Anyone who watches baseball knows these warnings are anything but routine,” he said.

The investigation is being conducted under both the Florida Civil Rights Act and the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act.

As part of the subpoena, MLB has been ordered to provide extensive documentation by July 23. Requested records include uniform policy enforcement histories, internal communications regarding the June 2026 warnings, policies governing religious and political expression, and information related to Pride Night participation requirements.

The subpoena also seeks records regarding whether players have ever faced consequences for declining to participate in league-sponsored themed events.

The issue has now expanded beyond Florida.

Federal officials are also examining the controversy after the Department of Justice referred the matter to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for review.

Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon argued that federal civil rights laws protect religious expression in the workplace and require employers to reasonably accommodate employees’ sincerely held religious beliefs.

“The Civil Rights Act prohibits MLB and its franchises from unreasonably burdening the rights of players with religious objections to serving as the League’s vehicle for pro-Pride messages,” Dhillon wrote.

She further noted that the Trump administration remains committed to protecting Americans from religious discrimination and ensuring that constitutional freedoms are applied equally regardless of political or cultural viewpoints.

The controversy comes at a time when concerns about religious liberty have become increasingly prominent among conservatives. Many argue that corporations, sports leagues, universities, and other institutions readily celebrate some forms of expression while treating traditional religious viewpoints differently.

Supporters of the Giants pitchers maintain that the issue is not opposition to Pride events or LGBTQ individuals. Rather, they argue that if players are encouraged to express personal beliefs and identities, Christian players should enjoy the same freedom without fear of punishment.

As investigations continue at both the state and federal level, Major League Baseball now finds itself at the center of a debate that extends far beyond sports. What began as a few Bible verses written on baseball caps has evolved into a larger national conversation about religious freedom, equal treatment, and whether America’s institutions are applying their rules fairly to everyone.

Michelle Obama Drops Nasty Bomb About ‘Useless’ Daughter

Former First Lady Michelle Obama shared an unexpected story of heroism during a recent podcast appearance, revealing that she once saved a close friend from choking while dining out with her daughter, Malia Obama, and several younger companions.

The story emerged during an episode of *IMO*, the podcast Obama co-hosts with her brother, Craig Robinson. Guest Kevin Hart appeared on the program when the conversation turned to memorable life experiences and unexpected emergencies.

“I gave one of my girlfriends the Heimlich at dinner,” Obama recalled.

According to Obama, the incident occurred while she was dining with a longtime friend, her daughter Malia, and two of Malia’s friends. What began as a routine dinner quickly turned into a frightening medical emergency.

Michelle explained that she was already aware that her friend suffered from an esophageal condition that occasionally caused food to become lodged in her throat.

“We’re the same age, and you know, you start having swallowing problems. Things just stop,” Obama said.

“But [Michelle’s friend] had chewed her food; she had told me before that she had this esophageal issue where things will get stuck, so I knew that about her.”

The former first lady said her friend had finished eating and stood up from the table when the situation suddenly became serious.

“I think she coughed up something, and it got stuck in her throat. She was straining, and I said, ‘Are you OK?’” Obama recalled.

Recognizing the signs of choking, Obama immediately moved into action despite never having performed the Heimlich maneuver before.

“I had never done the Heimlich before, and it dislodged it. It just popped up right away,” she said.

The quick response apparently prevented what could have become a far more dangerous situation.

While Obama was praised for her calm reaction under pressure, she jokingly teased the younger members of the dinner party for failing to respond.

According to the former first lady, Malia and her friends largely froze as the emergency unfolded.

Michelle said the younger group “pushed away from the table” during the incident rather than stepping in to help.

Afterward, she confronted them about their lack of action.

“I looked at the kids, and I was like, ‘What were you all doing?’” Obama said.

“They were like, ‘You’re right, we were useless.’ They realized that that was a mother moment.”

Kevin Hart expressed admiration for Obama’s quick thinking and ability to react during a crisis.

“How good is your life to throw out a casual hero story of, yeah, I saved a life,” Hart said.

The story provided a lighter and more personal moment during a week in which the Obamas have remained in the public spotlight for other reasons.

Michelle and former President Barack Obama have been promoting the opening of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago, a major project years in the making that is expected to become a centerpiece of the former president’s legacy.

At the same time, Michelle Obama found herself unexpectedly drawn into another national conversation following comments made during a UFC event attended by President Donald Trump.

During a post-fight interview, UFC fighter Josh Hokit made controversial remarks about the former first lady while celebrating a victory inside the Octagon. The comments generated widespread reactions online and quickly became a topic of discussion across social media and cable news.

Neither Michelle Obama nor Barack Obama has publicly responded to the remarks.

Instead, the former first lady has continued focusing on public appearances, media interviews, and promotion of the presidential center.

For many listeners, however, the most memorable moment from her recent podcast appearance was not political at all. It was the image of a former first lady calmly stepping into action during a medical emergency while younger members of the group stood frozen in shock.

The story offered a reminder that even for some of the most recognizable figures in America, unexpected moments can arise without warning—and sometimes the person who saves the day is simply the one willing to act when everyone else hesitates.
