Jaw-Dropping Details Emerge From Hijacking Attempt On Israel-Bound Flight

Harrowing new details are emerging from the midair chaos aboard a Flydubai flight bound for Israel, where officials say one pilot stabbed the other and apparently attempted to bring down the passenger jet before travelers rushed the cockpit and helped stop him.

Flydubai Flight 1073 was traveling from Dubai to Tel Aviv on Wednesday when a violent struggle erupted inside the cockpit, sending the aircraft plunging thousands of feet and triggering emergency alerts before the crew diverted to Saudi Arabia.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said one pilot stabbed the other and “apparently attempted to crash the plane with its passengers on board,” nearly all of whom were Israelis.

The aircraft abruptly reversed course near the Saudi-Jordanian border before making an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, at approximately 9:45 a.m. local time.

Israeli officials said roughly 160 to 180 passengers were aboard.

But as the crisis unfolded behind the cockpit door, passengers reportedly realized something was seriously wrong—and some took action.

Netanyahu said an Israeli passenger later described forcing his way into the cockpit with a crew member and helping overpower “the attacking pilot while he was attempting to sabotage the aircraft’s systems.”

“I salute these heroes, who demonstrated extraordinary resourcefulness and courage,” Netanyahu said. “They saved many lives and prevented a disaster.”

Passengers described a terrifying scene as people scrambled toward the front of the cabin while the aircraft remained in flight.

One passenger later said travelers had subdued the alleged attacker and were guarding the wounded captain as the jet approached Saudi Arabia.

Videos apparently recorded aboard the aircraft showed bloodied passengers and an injured man as travelers attempted to process the violent confrontation that had just unfolded.

The attacking pilot was taken into custody and was being questioned by Saudi authorities, according to Netanyahu.

Both pilots were hospitalized with injuries following the incident, according to officials at the Tabuk airport.

Despite the violence inside the cockpit and the aircraft’s dramatic descent, the jet landed safely.

A replacement aircraft later transported the stranded passengers from Saudi Arabia to Tel Aviv.

Israel’s Magen David Adom emergency service said none of the passengers required immediate medical treatment after arriving in Israel.

What prompted the terrifying episode remains under investigation.

Israeli authorities are reportedly examining several possibilities, including whether the incident was an attempted attack targeting Israelis or a suicide attempt.

Flydubai has confirmed that an altercation occurred but has released few details about what sparked the confrontation.

A company spokesperson said crew members on duty were able to secure the aircraft.

The incident initially raised fears of a possible hijacking.

Flight-tracking data showed the aircraft transmitting emergency code 7700, the general aviation emergency signal, before switching to 7500—the transponder code associated with hijacking or unlawful interference. The aircraft later returned to the general emergency code.

Israeli fighter jets were scrambled as security officials monitored the unfolding crisis.

Netanyahu and other senior Israeli officials also held emergency consultations as authorities raced to determine what was happening aboard the aircraft.

What began as a routine flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv had suddenly become a fight for control of a passenger jet thousands of feet above the ground.

And according to Israeli officials, the actions of passengers and crew members inside that cockpit may have prevented the flight from ending in catastrophe.

AOC In Hot Water As ‘Cornell 7’ Story Takes New Turn

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) is facing scrutiny over her public comments about the explosive Cornell University sexual assault allegations after describing seven accused men as perpetrators despite the absence of criminal convictions.

The controversy centers on the so-called “Cornell 7,” seven men accused in a civil lawsuit of drugging and sexually assaulting a 20-year-old woman inside a fraternity house in October 2024.

The allegations are deeply serious, but the distinction between an accusation and a proven criminal offense has become a central issue as prominent Democratic officials weigh in on the case.

During a September 27 town hall in Ithaca, Ocasio-Cortez delivered an emotional condemnation of the alleged assault, using language that presented the woman’s account as established fact.

“It has just been revealed that in 2024, just about two years ago, seven men drugged and gang raped a 20 year old woman,” Ocasio-Cortez told the audience.

“They lured her into a fraternity house, they drugged her with ketamine, they then posted to a group chat that she was incapacitated and seven men took turns gang raping her for seven hours,” she continued.

The remarks have prompted questions about whether the congresswoman went beyond expressing support for an alleged victim by publicly asserting the guilt of individuals whose criminal responsibility has not been established in court.

A recent Substack legal analysis raised the possibility that Ocasio-Cortez could face a defamation claim over her statements.

Such a lawsuit, however, remains hypothetical. No confirmed defamation action against the congresswoman has been identified, and any potential case would require consideration of the precise statements, whether the individuals were identifiable, applicable defenses and constitutional free-speech protections.

The controversy has also drawn attention to two other prominent New York Democrats: Gov. Kathy Hochul and Attorney General Letitia James.

James publicly expressed support for the woman identified in court documents as Jane Doe before Hochul appointed the attorney general to serve as special prosecutor in the reopened criminal investigation.

“What this young woman has been forced to endure is horrific and unacceptable,” James stated.

“I’m holding her in my heart and in my prayers.”

“To her, and to all survivors: you’re not alone. We stand with you.”

Unlike the hypothetical legal questions surrounding Ocasio-Cortez, James’s involvement has already become the subject of a court challenge.

Attorneys representing one of the accused men filed a petition seeking her removal as special prosecutor, arguing that her public statements raise concerns about impartiality.

The defense contends that James’s expressions of support could create an appearance of prejudgment in a case where investigators are still responsible for determining whether criminal charges are warranted.

Hochul has defended her decision to appoint James, while the attorney general has pledged to conduct a fair investigation.

The dispute raises questions about the responsibilities of public officials when discussing unresolved criminal allegations.

Elected leaders can express concern for people reporting sexual assault and demand accountability from institutions without treating disputed allegations as judicially established facts.

At the same time, public expressions of sympathy do not automatically establish prosecutorial bias or constitute unlawful conduct.

Cornell University has also faced mounting criticism over its handling of the allegations.

Demonstrators have demanded greater accountability and an independent examination of how university officials responded to the woman’s complaint.

Cornell subsequently enlisted former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates to review its handling of sexual misconduct complaints.

The original criminal investigation did not produce charges, although the university’s internal disciplinary process reportedly resulted in penalties against several students and the closure of the fraternity chapter.

Those disciplinary actions are separate from criminal convictions and operate under different procedures and evidentiary standards.

The woman’s civil lawsuit remains an important avenue for examining the allegations, while the reopened criminal investigation could determine whether prosecutors believe sufficient evidence exists to pursue charges.

For Ocasio-Cortez, the controversy highlights the legal and political risks of making categorical public statements about unresolved allegations.

Her critics argue that declaring the accused men guilty before a criminal trial disregards the presumption of innocence and risks prejudicing public opinion.

Others maintain that elected officials should be able to speak forcefully about allegations of sexual violence and support those who report abuse.

Both concerns can be addressed without prejudging the outcome of the investigation.

The seven accused men have not been criminally convicted in connection with the allegations described, and the allegations themselves remain subject to legal examination.

For James, the immediate issue is whether the court will permit her to continue overseeing the reopened investigation despite objections from defense attorneys.

For Ocasio-Cortez, the question is whether her public characterization of the allegations will result in any legal action or remain a matter of political and public criticism.

The case underscores a fundamental principle of the American justice system: serious allegations deserve serious investigation, but criminal guilt must be established through evidence and due process rather than declarations from elected officials.

All Hell Breaks Loose When Boxing Legend Mike Tyson Shows Up With Trump

President Donald Trump brought an unexpected guest into the spotlight Friday night when legendary heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson joined him on stage during a packed campaign rally in Syracuse, New York, drawing an enthusiastic response from the crowd.

The surprise appearance reunited two longtime friends whose relationship dates back nearly four decades, to the days when Trump was a major figure in Atlantic City and Tyson was one of the most feared fighters in professional boxing.

Trump, who was campaigning in support of Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman, temporarily shifted his attention from politics to recognize the former heavyweight champion standing near the stage.

“I see somebody in the audience that I will never fight, I promise,” Trump joked, drawing laughter from supporters.

The president then recalled Tyson’s legendary dominance during the height of his boxing career.

“But I remember when Mike was in his prime, when he was the heavyweight champion of the world. He’d stand in the corner, and all of his people would be holding him back,” Trump said.

“He was a very dangerous person actually, and he was one of the greatest fighters in history.”

Trump also took the opportunity to joke about Blakeman, who was standing alongside the former champion.

“I see him standing right next to Bruce Blakeman. Bruce wants a little protection, he’s got the right guy,” Trump said. “Bruce knows who to stand near.”

The president then invited Tyson onto the stage, where the two exchanged a handshake before the boxing legend stepped forward to address the audience.

Tyson’s remarks were brief, but his admiration for Trump was unmistakable.

“Thank you very much. I’m just happy to be here with my president, President Trump,” Tyson told the crowd.

“And there’s no way in the world I would ever be here if it wasn’t for a president like Donald Trump.”

The crowd welcomed the unexpected appearance as Trump smiled and continued praising his longtime friend.

“I watched him get in the ring many times. He was a scary guy,” the president said.

Trump also joked that Tyson, now 60, appeared to be aging remarkably well.

“I think he looks better now than he did 30 years ago,” Trump told the audience.

The exchange offered a memorable break from the evening’s political speeches, which focused on New York’s gubernatorial contest, the upcoming midterm elections and the Trump administration’s economic agenda.

Tyson’s appearance was particularly notable because the former champion had spent much of Friday traveling alongside the president.

Earlier in the afternoon, Tyson made an unexpected visit to the White House briefing room, where reporters questioned him about his presence in Washington.

Asked whether Republicans would prevail in the upcoming midterm elections, Tyson delivered an unusual answer.

“I think Donald Trump will win,” the former champion responded.

Although Trump himself is not on the November ballot, the president has repeatedly encouraged supporters to view the congressional elections as an opportunity to demonstrate support for his administration and its policies.

Later Friday, Tyson joined Trump outside the White House as the president prepared to depart for New York.

Speaking with reporters before boarding Marine One, Trump again joked about the prospect of facing his longtime friend in the boxing ring.

“I won’t be fighting him today,” the president said.

The two traveled aboard Marine One to Joint Base Andrews before transferring to Air Force One for the flight to Syracuse.

New York Yankees President Randy Levine was also among those accompanying Trump, along with administration officials and Republican lawmakers.

The presidential aircraft arrived in Syracuse shortly before 7 p.m., ahead of the evening’s campaign event.

Trump’s friendship with Tyson stretches back to the late 1980s, when the future president was building his Atlantic City casino empire and Tyson was establishing himself as one of boxing’s biggest international stars.

During that period, Trump helped promote several major heavyweight fights, including Tyson’s historic June 1988 showdown with previously undefeated champion Michael Spinks.

The fight, held at Atlantic City’s Convention Hall, ended in spectacular fashion when Tyson knocked out Spinks in just 91 seconds.

The stunning victory became one of the defining moments of Tyson’s career and further cemented his reputation as one of the most devastating punchers in boxing history.

Trump’s involvement in promoting the event helped turn the matchup into a major sporting spectacle, attracting international attention and generating substantial revenue.

Tyson went on to compile a professional record of 50 victories, including 44 knockouts, and seven losses.

He had already made boxing history in November 1986 when he defeated Trevor Berbick at just 20 years old, becoming the youngest heavyweight champion the sport had ever seen.

Nearly four decades later, the relationship between Trump and Tyson remains a visible connection between two of America’s most recognizable public figures.

Friday’s appearance also came as Trump increased his involvement in New York’s gubernatorial race, where Blakeman is challenging Democratic Governor Kathy Hochul.

The president used the Syracuse rally to promote Blakeman’s candidacy and discuss the political stakes of November’s elections.

But for one moment, the campaign speeches gave way to a reunion between a sitting president and a boxing icon whose career Trump witnessed firsthand.

Tyson’s declaration of admiration for Trump provided the evening with one of its most memorable exchanges, highlighting a friendship that has endured through decades of public attention, controversy and changing careers.

What began as a political rally ultimately delivered an unexpected moment of sports history, presidential humor and a public tribute from one of boxing’s most legendary champions.

Feds Raid Ilhan Omar’s Home — Make Horrifying Discovery

The Trump administration is reportedly escalating its investigation into allegations surrounding Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar’s immigration history, with federal investigators said to have executed a search warrant at a Washington, D.C.-area residence connected to the Minnesota congresswoman.

According to the supplied report, Homeland Security Investigations agents conducted the search early Monday as part of an ongoing federal criminal investigation involving immigration documents submitted when Omar was a child.

The report attributes the information to a source familiar with the investigation who spoke to Fox News Digital. The reported search and the Justice Department statement attributed to officials have not yet been independently verified.

The allegations represent a potentially significant development in the long-running controversy surrounding Omar’s immigration and marriage history, although no criminal charges against the congresswoman have been identified.

The reported investigation centers on immigration paperwork completed by Omar’s late father during her family’s relocation to the United States.

Omar, who was born in Somalia in 1982, fled the country’s civil war with her family and spent several years in a Kenyan refugee camp before arriving in the United States in the 1990s. She later became a naturalized American citizen.

According to the article, a Justice Department spokesperson confirmed that federal agents had executed a judicially authorized search warrant but declined to reveal what evidence investigators were seeking.

“Today in the Washington, D.C., area, Homeland Security Investigations executed a judicially authorized search warrant secured by the Department of Justice,” the spokesperson reportedly told Fox News Digital. “This enforcement action is part of an ongoing federal investigation.”

The reported development follows comments from White House border czar Tom Homan, who acknowledged in September that federal investigators were examining allegations involving Omar.

“I know things are going on, but I can’t give specifics of what’s happening,” Homan said during a Fox News appearance, according to the article.

Homan emphasized that holding elected office does not exempt anyone from federal immigration laws.

“If someone committed an immigration violation, if someone committed marriage fraud or anything like that, regardless if they’re a congressman or not, no one’s above the law,” he said.

Homan did not identify specific charges being considered against Omar or disclose evidence supporting the allegations.

His comments came amid renewed scrutiny of accusations that Omar previously entered into a fraudulent marriage to obtain immigration benefits.

Those claims have circulated for years, and Omar has repeatedly denied them, describing the allegations as false, discriminatory and politically motivated.

When previously asked whether the Department of Homeland Security had notified her of an investigation, Omar said she had received no such notification.

As of the supplied report, Omar’s office had not issued a detailed public response to the alleged search, and the Justice Department had not announced charges against her.

The search has now been corroborated by the Associated Press and Reuters. The Justice Department confirmed a court-authorized search, although officials have not publicly identified the evidence sought or announced charges.

The reported focus on documents prepared by Omar’s father raises an important legal distinction: investigators would need evidence connecting any alleged false statements to a legally actionable offense. The existence of a search warrant does not establish that Omar personally committed fraud.

The investigation also comes amid broader efforts by the Trump administration to scrutinize alleged immigration and naturalization fraud, including suspected false statements and fraudulent marriages.

For now, the case remains an ongoing federal investigation. Whether it leads to criminal charges will depend on the evidence investigators uncover and the applicable legal standards.
